On a beautiful fall day in Michaux State Forest in South Central, PA, 112 racers tackled America's longest 'cross race.When the looooong day of racing was over, Andy Applegate (Easton/Kona), Ray Adams (visitpa.com), and AndyGorski (North Hills Velo) stood atop the men's podium, while Cara McCauley (CCA/Kona), Mandi Riddle (Vicious Cycles), and Karen Moody (Unattached) topped the women's field.Applegate, in his thrid bid for victory at Iron Cross also claimed the KOM title and the 'cross bike bonus. Riddleclaimed the QOM title while McCauley scored the female 'cross bike bonus.The Iron Cross race was 62+ miles long and featured over 6,000 feet of climbing.
