July 18, 2007; Conshohocken, PA, USA: MABRAcross, America’s fastest growing cycling series, will once again be sponsored by the industry’s premier on-line registration service, BikeReg.com in 2007 thanks to a title-sponsorship agreement announced today. “ BikeReg.com is excited to continue our relationship with MABRAcross,” said BikeReg.com’s President and CEO Steve Roszko recently. “As one of the regions showing great growth and interest in grassroots ‘cross year after year, it’s a great way for BikeReg.com to give back to the racers. And, with the experienced group of series organizers and event promoters, we know these events will be well produced and organized."
The BikeReg.com MABRAcross series is the flagship cyclocross product of the Mid-Atlantic Bicycle Racing Association. MABRA is USA Cycling’s officially designated “Local Association” for the region encompassing Delaware, Maryland, Northern Virginia and the District of Columbia (a.k.a. Washington, DC). The region, which boasts no fewer than three world-class media markets, encompasses an area roughly the size of the nation of Switzerland. And, with one of the world’s most international cities ( Washington D.C.) as one of its hubs, the series holds influence far beyond its borders. Clearly one of the most successful domestic cyclocross series in the world, the BikeReg.com MABRAcross series has been showing sustained average entry growth of over 36% per year for the past 3 years.
