FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

August 10, 2007; Conshohocken, PA, USA: The BikeReg.com MABRAcross Series, in response to requests of younger children and their parents, have added a new “Under 16” Junior Division. This new division, which will be just 2 laps long, will start concurrently with the Masters 55+ division. The class is designed to provide a place to race for youngsters who are too young or inexperienced to compete in a full 45 minute Junior race, but who are also too mature for the “Lil’ Belgians” kid’s fun races that are part of every BikeReg.com MABRAcross event. At two laps, the new “U16” class will be long enough to require fitness but not so long as to discourage novices and very young riders.

In another new policy to encourage young people to race bikes, riders who fail to pre-register for any BikeReg.com MABRAcross event in 2007 can have their late registration fee waived if they bring a Junior (either U16 or U18) entrant to the race.
